What you'll receive
You’ll receive a scholarship valued at $15,000.
The scholarship will be paid as a stipend in two instalments of $7,500 per semester for up to one year, following confirmation of your enrolment after the census date of each semester, commencing Semester 1, 2026.
Eligibility
To apply for this scholarship, you must:
- be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- identify as female
- be enrolled as a full-time student at QUT (36 credit points or more per semester)
- have a grade point average (GPA) of 5.5 or above
- have relocated from a regional, rural or remote (as per ASGS Remoteness Area Classification) to undertake your degree.
You must be entering your third or final year having completed 192 credit points and enrolled in one of the following courses in Semester 1, 2025:
- EN01 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Electrical)
- EN01 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Computer and Software Systems)
- EN01 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Mechatronics)
- EV03 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Renewable Energy
- EV11 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Sustainable Infrastructure
- EV02 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
Double degrees
Students enrolled in one of the following double degrees in 2025 are eligible:
- IX59 Bachelor of Business / Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
- SE40 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Bachelor of Mathematics
- SE60 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Bachelor of Information Technology
- SE80 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Bachelor of Science.
You will need to be entering the equivalent of your third or final year having completed 192 credit points of the engineering degree, majoring in either:
- electrical engineering
- electrical and aerospace engineering
- computer and software systems engineering
- mechatronics engineering.

You need to complete and submit the online application form by Monday 29 September 2025.
Your application should include the following attachments:
- a copy of your academic record from HiQ site
- a copy of your resume/curriculum vitae (CV)
- evidence you have relocated from a regional, rural or remote (as per ASGS Remoteness Area Classification) to undertake your degree.
What happens next?
The scholarship recipient will be selected based on their written responses in the application form.
