What you'll receive

You’ll receive a scholarship valued at $5,000.

The scholarship will be paid as a stipend in two instalments of $2,500 per semester for up to one year, following confirmation of your enrolment after the census date of each semester, commencing Semester 1, 2026.

Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen
  • be enrolled in CS47 Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours)
  • be studying either full-time or part-time
  • have completed CSH466 Pharmacist Prescribing, achieving a grade of 6.0 or above in Semester 2, 2025.

How to apply

You need to complete and submit the online application form by 11.59pm on the closing date, 01 February 2026.

Your application should include the following attachments:

  • a copy of your resume / curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Written Statement (max. 500-word response) addressing:
    • your interest in community pharmacy and what draws you to this area of practice
    • how you envision utilising the full scope of pharmacist prescribing in your future career
    • how pharmacists can maintain effective communication with patients and other healthcare providers within this expanded scope of practice.

What happens next?

Once the selection process is complete, you will be notified in writing of the outcome of your application.

The successful applicant may be notified of the outcome of their application by telephone or email prior to receiving the formal written notification.

About the scholarship

Rhonda White AO and Terry White AO who have dedicated over six decades to community pharmacy, are establishing this scholarship to provide meaningful support to students pursuing full scope of practice in Community Pharmacy upon graduation.
