What you'll receive
This scholarship was last offered in semester 2, 2025. It has been replaced by the QUT - International Talent Scholarship.
Grandfathering
This scholarship will be granted to eligible QUT College University Academic Programs students who articulate to their Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) offer by semester 2, 2026 and who do not qualify for the International Merit Scholarship.
You'll receive:
- a scholarship to cover 20% of your tuition fees for your first two semesters (one year) of degree (or higher) study at QUT, provided you meet the minimum academic standards
- other benefits including a scholarship award ceremony.
The QUT Real World International Scholarship was available from the following faculties:
- Faculty of Business and Law
- Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice
- Faculty of Engineering
- Faculty of Science.
Eligibility
You must:
- meet the academic entry requirements
- have an eligible nationality
- meet minimum English language entry requirements for the course
- be commencing the course for the first time
- receive an admission offer letter into one of the eligible courses offered by the participating faculties.
Other factors (e.g. educational disruption, medical circumstances, financial needs) will not be taken into consideration for this scholarship - eligibility is solely determined on your academic record.
