What you'll receive
In Semester 1, 2024 recipients of the QUT Asylum Seeker Tuition Fee Scholarship will receive the following:
- a tuition fee scholarship for the duration of your undergraduate degree.
- a guaranteed minimum QUT Equity Scholarship of $4200 for one year
- an Equity Computer on commencement at QUT.
Eligibility
You should apply if you are facing significant financial barriers to studying at university, and are:
- a holder of a Bridging Visa E (subclass 050), Temporary Protection Visa (subclass 785), or Safe Haven Enterprise Visa (subclass 790)
- applying for an undergraduate degree full-time or part-time at QUT for Semester 1, 2024.
How to apply
To be considered for this scholarship, you must submit your application by Monday 22 January 2024. You will hear whether you are successful by 12 February 2024.
What happens next?
All applicants who submit on-time applications and supporting documentation will be notified of the outcome of their application by 12 February 2024. Please note, applicants will only be eligible to receive the scholarship once they are enrolled in an undergraduate course at QUT.
About the scholarship
The QUT Asylum Seeker Tuition Fee Scholarships have been established to support students who are holders of a Bridging Visa E, Temporary Protection Visa, or Safe Heaven Enterprise Visa; and receive an offer to study an undergraduate degree full-time or part-time at QUT in Semester 1, 2024.
