What you'll receive
A scholarship of up to $90,000 may be awarded, disbursed in semester instalments across the remaining duration of study.
The total amount granted will be determined by the length of study remaining, with a maximum allocation of $30,000 per year.
Eligibility
Current students who meet all of the following criteria are eligible to apply:
- be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and meet the documentary evidence outlined in the Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Descent procedure
- an Australian citizen
- admitted in a QUT Bachelor of Business single or double degree program
- undertaking a major in:
- accounting
- finance
- financial planning
- behavioural economics
- economics.
Students must also meet the study plan requirements:
- achieved at least 36 credit points of business study
- achieved a course GPA of 4.0 or above
- have at least 72cp of study remaining to complete
- enrolled in at least 36 credit points of study in Semester 1, 2026.

As part of your application you will be required to provide the following:
- an up-to-date resume of no more than three pages
- a reference from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community member.

What happens next?
A selection panel will assess your application after the closing date and advise if you are required for an interview.
Conditions
Maintaining scholarship payments is conditional upon:
- maintaining admission in a business degree for the duration of the scholarship
- maintaining a minimum enrolment load of 36 credit points per semester in the scholarship period
- maintain a minimum GPA of 4.0.
