What you'll receive
You'll receive a scholarship of $7,500 for one year, paid in two instalments of $3,750.
Eligibility
You must be one of:
- an Australian citizen (including dual citizens)
- a New Zealand citizen.
You must also be:
- experiencing financial hardship
- enrolled in or applying for Bachelor of Nursing.

What happens next?
All applications are assessed against selection criteria. We allocate scholarships based on need. Students with the greatest need will receive the highest value scholarships.
About the scholarship
The Manoharan Learning Potential Fund Scholarship was established by Dr Shobhan Manoharan and Dr Patricia Manoharan in 2024 to support an undergraduate student studying a Bachelor of Nursing.
