What you'll receive
You’ll receive a scholarship valued at $10,000.
The scholarship will be paid as a stipend in two instalments of $5,000 per semester for up to one year, following confirmation of your enrolment after the census date of each semester, commencing Semester 1, 2027.
Eligibility
To apply for this scholarship, you must be either:
- an Australian citizen
- an Australian permanent resident.
You must:
- identify as female
- be enrolled as a full-time student at QUT (36 credit points or above per semester)
- have a grade point average (GPA) of 5.5 or above.
You must be undertaking full-time study and have completed 192 credit points in one of the following courses in Semester 1, 2027:
- EN01 Bachelor of Engineering (Computer and Software Systems)
- IN01 Bachelor of Information Technology.
Double degrees
Students enrolled in one of the below double degree courses majoring in computer and software systems, and have completed 192 credit points in the engineering degree or 192 credit points in the information technology degree, are also eligible:
- IX59 Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
- SE40 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Bachelor of Mathematics
- SE60 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Bachelor of Information Technology
- SE80 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Bachelor of Science
- EV09 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Master of Project Management
- IX22 Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Information Technology
- ID10 Bachelor of Communication (Digital Advertising)/Bachelor of Information Technology
- ID03 Bachelor of Creative Industries/Bachelor of Information Technology
- ID15 Bachelor of Design (Interaction Design)/Bachelor of Information Technology.
How to apply
Applications are currently closed. This scholarship is offered each year, with applications usually opening in January. Check back closer to this time for updates.
By the closing date, you need to complete and submit the online application form including the following attachments:
- a copy of your academic record from HiQ site
- a copy of your resume / curriculum vitae (CV)
- a written response to the selection criteria.
What happens next?
The Jumbo Interactive team will review the written applications. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview with the team, who will then advise QUT of the successful candidate.
