About the scholarship
The Interaction and Visual Design Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of three exceptional QUT Interaction and Visual Design students, Gerard Cutcheon, Adam Neykoff-Davies and Helena Wood, who tragically lost their lives in a car accident in 2004 while returning from a volunteer digital heritage project at Carnarvon Gorge. Known for their creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, they embraced their studies with passion and a commitment to making meaningful contributions through design.
The scholarship was established by family and friends to create a lasting legacy that honours their lives and their dedication to education to inspire future generations of designers.
