Getting to our campuses

Kelvin Grove

Free parking is available in F and J Block car parks on Boundary Road and there are also smaller open-air car parks and paid street parking.

Alternatively, catch the bus to the QUT Kelvin Grove bus station, located on the Northern Busway. There are also bus stops along Kelvin Grove Road within walking distance of the campus.

Note: There will be limited parking near the Creative Industries Precinct. Allow at least 15-20 minutes to walk from Kelvin Grove campus car parks and the Northern Busway.

Gardens Point

Free parking is limited and we encourage you to take public transport where possible. Or you can utilise the free parking at Kelvin Grove and catch the free shuttle bus to Gardens Point.

Gardens Point is a short walk from Central and South Bank train stations, and Mater Hill and city bus stations. You can also catch the CityCat and get off at the QUT Gardens Point stop.

Getting between campuses - free shuttle bus

Our free shuttle bus will be running at regular intervals from 8am to 3.45pm. The bus takes about 15 minutes but allow up to 45 minutes for the bus trip and walking to seminar or tour locations.

An additional loop shuttle will be available at Kelvin Grove with stops at the J Block car park, K Block and Z9 Block.
