Workshop details

Achieving optimal outcomes for the growing number of people living with complex and chronic health conditions relies heavily on effective teamwork and collaboration among health professionals with diverse skills and expertise. This workshop builds awareness of the roles within the health care team through a learning experience that is engaging, authentic and practice‑focused.

Students work in teams to analyse a complex clinical case and collaboratively develop a patient‑centred plan of care. Teams present their management approaches to the group and, as the case unfolds, are provided with additional information that challenges them to adapt and refine their plans in response to new clinical insights.
