QUT researchers have secured more than $15 million in Australian Research Council Future Fellowship funding, with 13 researchers awarded support for projects spanning renewable energy, robotics, artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, education, environmental science and disaster resilience.

QUT Deputy Vice-Chancellor - Research Professor Ian O'Hara said the result reflected the strength, diversity and impact of the university's research community.

"This outstanding result demonstrates the quality, ambition and impact of QUT research across a broad range of disciplines."
