Dr Zhenguo Shi

Biography
Dr. Zhenguo Shi is a Research Fellow (Level B) at the School of Computer Science, Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia. His research focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and wireless systems, with particular interests in next-generation wireless communications, integrated sensing and communication (ISAC), wireless sensing and localization, Internet of Things (IoT), and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) systems. His work aims to develop intelligent wireless systems capable of reliable sensing, detection, localization, and communication in complex and dynamic environments.
Dr. Shi received the M.E. and PhD degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, in 2011 and 2016, respectively, and a second PhD degree from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia, in 2022. Prior to joining QUT, he worked as a Senior Research Associate at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, from 2023 to 2025, and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Macquarie University, Australia, from 2021 to 2023.
