Biography
Anthony (Yefeng) Zhang is an accounting scholar and experienced university educator who teaches across the accounting, finance, and business disciplines at QUT. He holds a PhD in Accounting, a Master of Philosophy (Accounting), and a Master of Professional Accounting from Queensland University of Technology (QUT).
Anthony’s research focuses on corporate governance, financial reporting fraud, and audit pricing decisions, with a particular emphasis on the Chinese and U.S. capital markets. His research has been published in Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Accounting & Finance, and Journal of Contemporary Accounting & Economics, and he has several papers under review at leading accounting and finance journals. He also serves as a reviewer for multiple academic journals.
Committed to high-quality teaching, Anthony integrates theoretical knowledge with practical insights to support student learning. He brings extensive professional and internship experience in the banking and accounting sectors, having worked as an Assistant Financial Manager, Investment Assistant, and Accounting Assistant. These industry experiences enrich both his research and his teaching practice.
