Biography
Shannon Colville is a Lecturer, researcher, and consultant in the School of Justice at the Queensland University of Technology. Her work focuses on how vulnerability is exposed and exploited across organisational and digital environments. She studies organised crime networks to understand how illicit actors organise, coordinate, and exploit points of vulnerability within and across organisations. She extends this work into digital contexts, examining how emerging technologies create new pathways to harm and exploitation. Her research helps organisations identify vulnerabilities, respond to emerging risks, and design systems that reduce exposure to harm and exploitation.
