Biography
Matt has specific responsibility for leadership of the QUTeX Client Partnerships Team across Australia. Matt’s mid-career encompassed senior executive roles with multi-national companies such as IBM, developing an understanding of project/program management, and commercial business acumen. Matt has 14 years immediate and highly relevant experience in University custom education both with University of Ballarat (Dual Sector/VET) and with QUT. In his current role, Matt’s responsibilities include- Leadership of a high-performance, collaborative business development team with an end-to-end account management approach. Matt established and leads a team of partnership managers who directly manage the marketing and sales function through to contract.
- Accountability for a sustainable executive education business function. Matt and his team identify industry sectors and appropriate opportunities, develop deep, multi-point relationships, understand clients need, and develop high quality business proposals.

Professional memberships and associations
Matt holds an Executive MBA from QUT for which he was awarded the Dean’s medal for academic excellence. He also holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing Science along with Diplomas in Project Management and Vocational Education and Training.
