The units/subjects developed and taught are as follows:

  • Manufacturing Resources Planning (Enterprise Resources Planning) (for Master of Engineering Management students and Double degree - BE (Manufacturing Engineering)/BBusiness - 4th year)

  • Manufacturing Practice - 1st year engineering coursers

  • Manufacturing Engineering I - 2nd year mechanical based courses

  • Design for Manufacturing II - 3rd year mechanical based courses

  • Technology Management - 3rd year mechanical based courses

  • Total Quality Management - Master of Engineering Management

  • Cost Analysis and Asset Management - Master of Engineering Management

  • Reliability and Maintenance Management - Master of Engineering Management

  • Enterprise Resources Planning - Master of Engineering Management

  • Engineering Asset Maintenance and Management - 4th year mechanical based course

  • Professional Studies (General engineering management) - 4th year engineering systems courses.

Teaching innovation and engagement

  • Experimented with the Total Quality Management (TQM) unit by involving students in the teaching process

  • Designed a flexible web-based delivery site for teaching the Master of Engineering Management course before the implementation of QUT OLT

  • Developed explicit links between the teaching and the profession, through my distinctive research network with industry

  • Developed and experimented with innovative peer assessment methods for group-based projects in the Technology Management and Professional Studies units
