Biography
Lisa Archbold is a lecturer at Queensland University of Technology’s law school, and has previously worked for the federal government advising on privacy policy, as well as in private practice as a lawyer in Queensland and Victoria. Her research interests include children’s rights, privacy and data protection law, intellectual property law, corporate responsibility, consumer rights and media law, all viewed from human rights-based and feminist perspectives. She has published on issues regarding on human rights, privacy law and children’s rights in the digital environment. Her PhD titled ‘Towards Children's Developmental Privacy in Digital Environments: Networks, Relations, and the Role for Law’ was conferred from the University of Melbourne in 2024.Personal details
