Biography
Originally a clinical Sonographer with an passion for research, however since completing my PhD at QUT, I have combined my interests and become a Research Sonographer. I am a Clinical Fellow with QUT and a researcher within the QUIQ Lab where we push the boundaries of knowledge by combining the absolute latest in ultrasound technology with AI, robots and more.My particular interest is in musculoskeletal ultrasound and elastography, which was the focus of my PhD. I enjoy the creative outlet of lecturing and developing educational materials, and presenting at international conferences. The translation of research is extremely important, and I feel that my teaching and lecturing positions provide a pathway to influence the next generation of Sonographers and clinicians.
