Dr Frank Mathmann

Biography
Frank Mathmann is a senior lecturer at QUT and a visiting scholar at the Higgins Lab of Columbia University.He holds a PhD in marketing from the University of New South Wales and has published his research in journals such as the Journal of Retailing, the Journal of Service Research, and the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin.
His research focusses on consumer motivation on digital platforms and he actively recruits high performing MPhil and PhD research students.
He also provides evidence-based consulting to industry, which can be based on social media, survey or experimental research, as well as literature reviews and expert advice. Previous projects included Mercedes Benz in Germany, major Australian retailers as well as expert witness advice on consumer behavior.

Frank teaches Branding for the Real World as well as Brand Analytics and is uniquely focussed in creating employment opportunities for students.

- Reports on consumer loyalty in retail contexts
- Expert witness roles in consumer purchasing practices
- Eye-tracking research in the German car industry
