Additional compulsory course costs

For some courses, you have to pay to:

  • purchase items, like uniforms or safety equipment
  • participate in course related activities.

These compulsory purchases are an additional cost; they're not covered by your tuition fees.

If you're studying in more than one faculty area (double degree), check both the relevant single degrees for additional costs.

International students

You must have a work permit for all courses where you're required to do work experience. You may also be able to use this work permit if you want to work in Australia while you're here studying.

For more information, contact our Student Centres or the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
