Throughout the unit, students will learn three main topics: programming, ordinary differential equations and statistics. All topics are taught in a real-world context by providing problems that emphasise critical thinking, analysis, interpretation and exposition, in applications across multiple disciplines in engineering. This gives students the necessary problem-solving skills heading into their chosen engineering discipline, where they will then learn discipline specific mathematics through embedded mathematics lectures.","title-full":"MZB126 Engineering Computation","title-short":"Engineering Computation","url":{"current":"https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/units/unit?unitCode=MZB126&year=2022","prospective":"https://www.qut.edu.au/study/unit?unitCode=MZB126","timetable":"https://qutvirtual3.qut.edu.au/qvpublic/ttab_unit_search_p.process_teach_period_search?p_unit_cd=MZB126"},"year":2022,"years":[2022]}
