The unit also explores a wide variety of calculus applications, and introduces the basic mathematical modeling skills relevant to a wide variety of scientific fields. The ability to express scientific problems in mathematical language, and to apply calculus techniques in the analysis of these problems, is essential to science students across all discplines. This introductory unit is particularly intended for students whose mathematical preparation does not include Queensland Senior Mathematics B or an equivalent. The mathematical foundation covered here will be developed further in SEB113.","title-full":"MZB101 Modelling with Introductory Calculus","title-short":"Modelling with Introductory Calculus","url":{"current":"https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/units/unit?unitCode=MZB101&year=2022","prospective":"https://www.qut.edu.au/study/unit?unitCode=MZB101","timetable":"https://qutvirtual3.qut.edu.au/qvpublic/ttab_unit_search_p.process_teach_period_search?p_unit_cd=MZB101"},"year":2022,"years":[2022]}
