MXB300 Work Integrated Learning in Mathematics

Throughout your course, you have been building your discipline skills and your understanding of contemporary industry practice. This capstone unit provides you with the opportunity to bring together the skills that you have developed, combining them in a coherent manner to solve a significant and relevant real-world problem from industry. Your experience will reflect the genuine practice of an applied mathematician in the workforce. An industry partner will present a relevant industry problem, provide feedback during the semester, and be involved in the project assessment. You will be required to identify whether traditional owners are direct or indirect stakeholders in an industry project, and guidance will be provided on this matter with consideration of the relevant Acts.
