EUN110 Teachers as Leaders and Entrepreneurial Thinkers

As future teachers and educators, knowledge and insights into leadership, management, administration and entrepreneurial education provide opportunities to understand the function and operation of diverse educational contexts. Understanding of educational leadership and entrepreneurial thinking  enables people who work in educational contexts to be well positioned to engage with change, enable organisational growth and advocate for effective forms of professional practice. This six-week unit will aid understanding of legislative, administrative and organisational policies and processes required for teachers and leaders. This unit  enables you to engage with leadership and entrepreneurial features of your role in the profession. It links to your previous study of learners and educational contexts to provide an important foundation for your professional identity and your future career as a teacher and leader in education.
