Power system engineers utilize in-depth knowledge and skills to develop solutions to these challenges. In this postgraduate unit, you will understand the complex power systems stability issues including voltage, frequency, and rotor angle stability. You will be investigating technical solutions to improve and mitigate power system stability problems in the transmission grid. You will demonstrate your ability of critical analysis and synthesis and communication skills. You will demonstrate your developed technical skill abilities to work pro-actively and productively on a design using reflective practice, and time and resource management. This unit requires you to draw upon your renewable power engineering knowledge acquired throughout your postgraduate study.","title-full":"ENN500 Power System Stability and Control","title-short":"Power System Stability and Control","url":{"current":"https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/units/unit?unitCode=ENN500&year=2024","prospective":"https://www.qut.edu.au/study/unit?unitCode=ENN500","timetable":"https://qutvirtual3.qut.edu.au/qvpublic/ttab_unit_search_p.process_teach_period_search?p_unit_cd=ENN500"},"year":2024,"years":[2024]}
