If you are applying for an English for Academic Purposes (EAP 1, EAP 2, EAP 3), Foundation or Diploma program you will need to either:

  • provide an approved English test score that meets the entry requirements
  • pass the QUT College English Entry Test.

This on-campus test is for students in Brisbane who do not have an approved English test that meets our program entry requirements.

Current QUT General English students who want to progress to an EAP program must:

  • take the test in order to progress
  • be in level pre-intermediate 6-10 or above to take this test.

From 2022, you can use your test results for entry into:

  • General English
  • English for Academic Purposes
  • Foundation programs
  • Diploma programs.

There is no cost for these tests.

This test is only available to international students.
