What if English isn't my first language?
Your conversations are not a test of your English language proficiency. Many of our ambassadors speak languages other than English.
Can my parents or family members join the call?
Of course. We understand that choosing an international university is a big decision, and that your family’s input is important. Our ambassadors are happy to speak with you and your family on the call.
What can I ask about during the call?
Our ambassadors are here to share their own personal experiences. Students commonly ask questions about life in Brisbane, accommodation, cost of living, course requirements, work-integrated-learning experiences, part-time employment, student services, scholarships and so much more. There are no wrong questions or answers.
Our ambassadors are unable to answer specific questions about your individual application, payments, offer conditions or visa conditions. These will be best answered by our specialist enquiry team, International Future Students or our International Admissions team.
Do I need to be a QUT student?
No. If you're considering studying QUT, you can still make a call. Our ambassadors are here to share their own personal experiences. Students commonly ask questions about life in Brisbane, accommodation, cost of living, course requirements, work integrated learning experiences, part-time employment, student services, scholarships and so much more. There are no wrong questions or answers.
What happens after the call?
The ambassador you connected with will send you a follow up email with resources from your chat.
Is my information private?
Yes, your personal information is handled in accordance with QUT’s Privacy Policy. Conversations are private and not recorded. The details you provide in your booking are held securely.
