Who keeps things going once the new thing is no longer new? This exhibition brings together 33 collaborative creative works from QUT's graduating Bachelor of Creative Industries cohort.
Each one turns its attention to the often-invisible, ongoing work of maintenance, repair, and care that holds our lives, cultures, and environments together.
Through installation, performance, moving image, design, writing and participatory works, these emerging artists, designers, writers and performers celebrate things that often go unnoticed: the labour of keeping relationships alive, repair as an act of care, the daily upkeep of the self, and the food, language and places passed down to us by others.
