What is the purpose of this research?
This is a 30 minute online survey. You don't need to have had a concussion to participate in this study. We're looking at theory-informed psychological factors that seem to play a role in concussion recovery, and we'll ask you about those factors.
Are you looking for people like me?
You are invited to participate in this research project if you are 18 years of age or older, are either a member of the public or the research participation pool (SONA), are fluent in English and have never had a prior mild traumatic brain injury caused by a motor vehicle accident.
What will you ask me to do?
This online study involves role playing We will ask you to read a short script about a minor car accident, and to role play someone who gets a concussion (mild traumatic brain injury).
Are there any risks for me in taking part?
This study is considered low risk, as there is a small chance that you may experience discomfort whilst participating. You'll find a full briefing about the risks in our study materials.
Are there any benefits for me in taking part?

Will I be compensated for my time?
