The 2023 event will be held online and addresses four key themes over three concurrent sessions.
As part of the program, thirty-seven researchers from Australia, the South Pacific, New Zealand, Africa and Europe will showcase their innovative research ideas to tackle global sustainability challenges and highlight research collaboration across the globe.
The conference keynote speaker, Dr Matthew Rimmer, is a QUT Professor in Intellectual Property and Innovation Law.
Dr Rimmer has over two decades of experience leading and conducting research into intellectual property and sustainable development and will be speaking on his forthcoming collection, The Elgar Companion to Intellectual Property and the Sustainable Development Goals. This comprehensive Companion brings together an array of leading international experts to assess and interrogate how IP law impacts each specific SDG in turn.
