Entrepreneurial leaders from across Australia and New Zealand will meet in Brisbane this month for the QUT-supported Australian Universities Entrepreneurship Alliance Forum to discuss the acceleration of innovation in the region.
Day one (October 12) of the forum will be held hosted by QUT at The Foundry on Gardens Point campus, with day two (October 13) held at Customs House and the Boggo Road Innovation Junction.
A free public event, The Innovation Exchange: From Ideas to Impact, will also be held from 6pm on October 12 at The Precinct in Fortitude Valley.
It will include a showcase of work by student founders from QUT and other Queensland universities, and a keynote by visiting US expert Katharine Ku (Chief Licensing Advisor at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, California, and former Executive Director of Stanford University’s Office of Technology Licensing).
The Innovation Exchange is sponsored by QUT Entrepreneurship and Knowledge Commercialisation Australasia (KCA), with Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) as the Thought Leader Partner.
