Biography
I am an Electrical and Electronics Engineer with a research focus on electrical machines for biomedical applications, particularly motor-drive systems for ventricular assist devices (LVADs). I received my B.Sc. (Hons.) degree from Ege University, İzmir, Turkey, in 2011, and my M.Sc. degree from Celal Bayar University, Manisa, Turkey, in 2016. I completed my Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Ege University in 2024.
My work centers on the modeling, design, and control of compact, high-speed electric machines, with emphasis on reliability, efficiency, thermal behavior, and vibration/noise considerations under constrained geometries. I am interested in translating machine design research into clinically relevant solutions by aligning electromagnetic performance with practical requirements such as manufacturability, validation, and system-level integration. I enjoy multidisciplinary collaboration at the intersection of electrical engineering and biomedical device development.
