Biography
Dr Saeed Jaydarifard completed his PhD in Psychology at The University of Queensland in 2025. He is currently a Research Fellow at the Queensland University of Technology, where he leads and supports multidisciplinary projects focused on transport safety, travel behaviour, and community wellbeing. Dr Jaydarifard’s research has involved a broad range of populations, including children, older adults, people with disabilities, professional drivers, and athletes. His work spans diverse methodologies, including longitudinal studies, experimental designs, and large-scale survey questionnaires. He has strong expertise in advanced statistical analysis and data modelling, with extensive experience using R and Python. Dr Jaydarifard has a proven track record in research translation. His work has been published in leading international journals across transportation, medicine, and psychology, and he has produced policy-relevant reports for government and non-government organisations. He is committed to producing impactful research that informs evidence-based practice and contributes to real-world outcomes.
