Business School Unit Co-ordinator | Senior Educator | Head Tutor |Throughout my work at QUT, I have led large teams of sessional academic professionals, liaised with business associates for collaboration, lead academic management of units between 120 to 1,700 students including course planning, syllabus preparation, material development, assessment design, teaching, student support, mentorship, constructive feedback and resource management.

I held the role as the research project coordinator responsible leading the research team to for providing support to Academic professionals for complex qualitative and quantitative research projects, including research team co-ordination of editing and formatting, literature searches, data analysis, report preparation and dissemination., liaise with Academic authors, and maintain procedural and administrative aspects of academic journal articles for publication.

As the sessional academic representative on the Business School Academic board, the role contributed to the university's governance structure, to the oversight, development, and quality assurance of academic programs and policies within the Business School.
Business School Sessional Academic Success Advisor |
The SASA program was a peer leadership program that aimed to ‘promote excellence in learning and teaching by building confidence and capacity within a supportive community of peers. Therefore, my role was to provide contextually specific just-in-time support, coaching and mentoring sessional academics, design opportunities for sessional academics and to build a supportive community for 550 Sessional Academics in the Business School. I developed resources including the Tutorial Preparation Guide for new tutors that is distributed as an on boarding resource, and continuous improvement to the Sessional Academic Success manual.

Employee Value Proposition Project

The objective of the project was to inform the organisations new and employee value proposition that would allow the aged care organisation to differentiate itself from its competitors, facilitate employee attraction and improve retention rates. The project involved both primary and secondary research including conducting 61 staff interviews. The result of this workforce strategy impacted the staff experience which in turn drove higher customer satisfaction levels.
Strategic Scenario Planning Project

The objective of the project was to provide a blueprint to a Brisbane private school specifying the resource allocations and scheduling necessary for attaining innovative organisational goals to decide where the organisation should go in the future and how to get there. Key themes from the scenario planning project were future possibilities visualised by examining current trends.
Research Project
This research examined how different types of high schools – private co-educational, private single-sex and public co-educational – shape female students’ career choice in the construction industry in Australia. By examining the availability of construction-related subjects, career counselling practices, and school-based encouragement for construction career, this study identifies key factors that influence young women’s career decisions.
