Biography
Ernest is a Research Fellow with a keen interest in the policy—science—solutions interface of conservation and sustainability discussions at local, national, and transnational scales. Formerly trained as a forester, he currently conducts climate and land-use change risk assessments, spatial planning, and evaluations of management effectiveness. He is exploring an integrative approach to managing climate, biodiversity, and pollution at the land-sea interface, focusing on the theme of “Source-to-Sea.”Expertise related to UN Sustainable Development Goals
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
