Biography
Professor Craig Costello is a cryptographer whose research lies at the frontier of securing the digital future. His current research focuses on post-quantum cryptography and zero-knowledge proofs, with particular interests in isogeny-based and lattice-based cryptographic constructions. Over the past decade, Professor Costello has played a leading role in the design, implementation, cryptanalysis, and standardisation of quantum-resistant cryptographic systems. His research has directly influenced the global effort to future-proof digital infrastructure against the threat posed by quantum computers.
Professor Costello welcomes collaborations with curious minds and is always eager to mentor motivated students who are excited by the challenge of building the next generation of secure cryptographic tools.
