We created teaching periods for some units to:
- better reflect the length of the unit
- support your study by assisting the governing business processes.
Teaching period dates will be displayed in HiQ to help you accurately choose units during the enrolment process.
Most students will continue to enrol in Semester 1 and 2 teaching periods. However, some students, such as those undertaking QUT Graduate School of Business 6-credit-point units and students undertaking QUT College courses, must be aware of the correct teaching period they need to enrol in.
These teaching periods are based on specific dates that relate to the addition and withdrawal of units and the associated academic and financial penalty.
The teaching periods may also be used by other courses that are not specified here.
