A one-day festival of readings, conversations and new writing from QUT's Creative Writing students, taking over Z9 for the day.
For one day, Z9 becomes a festival site: readings from new fiction, nonfiction and poetry; conversations between students, staff and visiting writers; and the messy, practical business of how a piece of writing goes from a draft to an audience.
The program runs from late morning into the evening and rolls directly into the ScratchThat launch and the announcement of the Creative Writing awards, so the day builds rather than trails off.
