Meet our speakers
Dr Vinesh Chandra
Dr Vinesh Chandra is a Senior Lecturer in Technology and STEM Education. He teaches in undergraduate courses in education that focus on technology, STEM and Global Education. He also supervises postgraduate research students in these disciplines. Dr Chandra has designed and implemented a course on creating apps for local and overseas students. Dr Chandra leads the SEE Project which is actively involved in advancing the print and digital literacy agenda in developing countries.
Miss Melinda Nimmo
Ms Melinda Nimmo has a long background in Education. Working as an English language teacher for approximately 15 years both in Australia and overseas, Melinda also obtained her Master of Education (TESOL) from QUT. Her most recent teaching role was as a teacher trainer on international short course programs within the university. In 2010, Melinda moved into her current role of representing the faculty internationally, where she shares information on Education courses. Given her background she has a great knowledge of the faculty and its courses.
