Phenomenon-based learning
The QUT Digital MBA is specifically designed to develop your leadership capability in the new digital context and develop your capacity to positively leverage digital disruption and business transformation.
This session is designed to introduce you to the benefits of using the phenomenon-based learning approach unique to the Digital MBA to study accounting more effectively in an online environment. You’ll be given a series of tasks to complete both independently and as a group, while being guided by your facilitator.
Your presenter
Liz Marsland is an experienced accounting professional with extensive experience across several industries including academia, tourism, utilities, government, consulting and chartered accounting.
She is currently employed in several MBA programs at QUT and has also lectured in a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate subjects involving financial accounting and computerized accounting.
Liz is a member of CPA Australia and is a Senior Fellow with the Higher Education Academy.
