Unique to Old Government House, The Courtyard is an intimate open-air space nestled in the heart of The House. Bound by the sandstone walls and steel verandahs, The Courtyard provides a great vantage point from which to admire the colonial architecture of The House.
The Courtyard cannot be hired independently from the interior of The House.

Special Considerations
The Courtyard space acts as a functioning café between 7am – 5pm Mondays to Fridays and between 10am – 2pm Sundays. Events can take place in this space after these times.
The remainder of the House is open to the public between 10am – 4pm Sunday to Fridays.
Old Government House closes to the public on Saturdays and some public holidays.
