EUN205 Arts Curriculum

This six-week unit examines the basic elements and concepts relevant to the Arts, including dance, drama, media arts, music and visual arts. The unit provides opportunities for practical exploration of art forms through problem-finding, problem-solving and inquiry-based approaches to learning. This unit challenges you to interrogate a broad range of ideas, principles and guidelines to assist you in making decisions about curriculum and planning in the Arts. You will be introduced to relevant Arts pedagogies across developmental phases, emphasising the role of the Arts in society, to other key learning areas, and in the care and education of children aged birth to 12 years.
