Postgraduate courses

Work with real athletes and clients

Graduate industry ready with professional placements as part of your course, including:

  • 500 placement hours with Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology
  • 300 placement hours with Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science

Treat clients in our exercise clinic located at Kelvin Grove campus. Under the supervision of accredited professionals, our exercise physiologist students deliver services in:

  • exercise-based rehabilitation and advice for clients with an acute injury or after surgery
  • exercise programs for those at risk of, or those with, existing chronic conditions and medical conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and arthritis
  • personal exercise programs and fitness assessments for the local community

Sport and exercise science students complete professional placements for experiences that include:

  • performance analysis of elite athletes and sportspeople
  • strength and conditioning training
  • school coaching and talent development
  • corporate health

Honours pathways

The Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology offers an honours pathway to students at the end of their second year of study. This allows you to complete an honours research project that extends your knowledge of the professional field, offering a competitive advantage in your career.
