This course develops your ability to lead the implementation of effective quality and patient safety programs within a health care setting. We examine the role of leaders and advanced governance principles for quality and safety. You will learn how to build a culture of high performance, innovation, reform, and safety.
This course is ideal if you are a health care manager, quality manager, in a position of leadership within a health care setting, or considering a career change in the area of quality and safety improvement.

Course dates for 2018 are to be confirmed.
This 4-day intensive course includes workshops, seminars, and independent learning activities.
You can complete the workshop modules only, or choose to also complete the optional assessment module. Assessment includes development of a grant proposal written in the format of a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) or similar grant application.

Australasian College of Health Service Managers (ACHSM) members receive a 15% discount.
Credit (advanced standing) in a postgraduate award course is available if you successfully complete the workshop and assessment.

To register for the course, pay your fees online by credit card, cheque and BPAY. There is an option to pay via invoice, if payment by the previous options are not possible.
FEE-HELP and HECS-HELP are not available for professional development courses.
Australasian College of Health Service Managers (ACHSM) members receive a 15% discount. Provide your ACHSM membership number to receive your discount.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the course if insufficient registrations are received, or if the course leader or venue becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond its control. Should this occur, we will endeavour to provide participants as much notice as possible. If we are required to cancel or reschedule the course a full refund will be paid to the participant if a substitution of dates is convenient for the attendee.
You will be charged a cancellation fee of 10% if you cancel less than 14 days before event. All cancellations or variations to registration must be made in writing to Paula Bowman.
Substitute participants are welcome in lieu of cancellation up to the scheduled course date. Advise us of any substitute participants before course commencement. Substituting participants will not incur a fee.
