As Queensland's reputation as the startup state grows, school leaders with a passion for people-led innovation will be at the forefront of pedagogy with this one-day intensive workshop.
An experienced team of education specialists and researchers from QUT's Faculty of Education will deliver this interactive workshop designed to prepare and inspire school leaders for the future.
This workshop is designed for school leaders and administrators across secondary public and private schools and institutions. This includes principals, deputies, managers and teachers who aspire to leadership or management positions.

Dr James Davis is the Entrepreneurship Leader for QUT's Faculty of Education with qualifications across commerce, science and education. He has hands-on experience with the development of start-up businesses in Australia and China, and has worked across the private and not-for-profit sectors. James is also a STEM Educator with research interests around the interplay between emotion and cognition in learning. He currently teaches in areas such as STEM inquiry, science curriculum studies, emotions in teaching and learning, and leadership and entrepreneurship.

To receive the discount for QUT Alumni and Master of Education students, please email Continuing Professional Education before registering to request a separate registration link. QUT students must enter their QUT student number at the time of registering.
To cancel your registration, you must apply in writing to the Course Manager at the Office of Continuing Professional Education.
If you cancel at least 10 business days before the workshop commences, you will receive a partial refund, i.e. the full fee minus a non-refundable $100 administration fee.
We reserve the right to cancel the workshop under certain circumstances, such as low registration numbers. If this happens, we will advise you as soon as possible, and give you a full refund. We are not responsible for any expenses you may have incurred if the workshop is cancelled.
