Eligibility

For non-award programs, it is expected that course and program attendees have the appropriate level of knowledge and experience to contribute to discussions and case studies, which form an important part of the learning process.

Payment

Payment options available are Visa, Mastercard, PayPal & BPAY.

Your position in any of our courses is not confirmed until all fees are paid in full. All outstanding fees must be paid prior to the commencement of any courses. Access to a course will be denied unless payment is made in full.

If payment is not made prior to the course commencement date, registration will be automatically cancelled.

Your tax receipt is made available via the website at the time of payment.

FEE-HELP and HECS-HELP are not available for QUTeX courses.

Cancellation

To cancel your registration, you must apply in writing to QUTeX

If you cancel prior to 10 business days before the course commences you will receive a full refund.

If you cancel between 9 ot 5 business days before the course commences you will receive a refund of 50% of the course fees.

No refunds will be granted within 4-0 business days of course commencement or once the course has started, except in exceptional circumstances with supporting evidence.

We reserve the right to cancel the course under certain circumstances, such as low registration numbers. If this happens, we will advise you as soon as possible, and give you a full refund. We are not responsible for any expenses you may have incurred if the course is cancelled.

QUT staff

If you are a QUT staff member and QUT is paying your fees, you will need to email QUTeX with the course name, date, relevant account code and authorising officer details. QUTeX will then contact you with the registration process for you to follow.

Substitutes

Sending a substitute is the best way to ensure you or your organisation retains the full value for its training investment. Should you be unable to attend a QUTeX course, you may nominate a substitute to attend in your place.

Written notification via email must be received a minimum 5 business days prior to the course. All written notifications must include your name, course name and contact information (first name, surname, email, mobile, date of birth & dietaries) for your substitute

Requests made for substitute transfer between 5-0 days before a course starts, or once a course has commenced, are not permitted, except in exceptional circumstances with supporting evidence.

Privacy

QUT is collecting your personal information on this registration form for the purpose of managing your course registration and participation. Information about you as a participant is also used to facilitate your access to student support services such as email and online teaching web sites. Participant information may also be used for quality assurance and evaluation purposes, to help ensure that the courses and programs provided by faculties are of high quality.

Your personal information may be disclosed to related third parties external to QUT for the purposes of facilitating your participation in the course.

The University ensures that personal information is responsibly collected and managed in accordance with the relevant Privacy Laws, This statement should be read in conjunction with QUT’s Information Privacy Policy (MOPP F/6.2), Privacy webpage, Privacy Collection Notice, and our Alumni, donors and partners, which further outline how the University handles personal information.
