Your expert facilitator David Concannon
David strongly believes that if people are empowered to do their best work, supported by awesome organisations, then the world will simply be a better place.
Hailing from the west coast of Ireland, David has worked in both public & private sectors, including the hospitality, retail and education industries, and across a broad range of HR roles from generalist and strategic HR to workforce planning, change management and organisational development. A Qld State Councillor with the Australian HR Institute and a certified HR practitioner, David has been teaching at QUT for over 5 years; delivering Strategic HR and Talent Management subjects in the Business School, across QUT’s suite of MBA and Executive MBA programs and with QUTEx.
He is especially passionate about supporting learners on their individual journeys as they consider new perspectives and approaches to people management; so that they themselves can prepare their people, teams and organisations to not just survive but to thrive in the future of work.
