There are nine Rhodes Scholars each year from across Australia. They join a community of nearly 8000 Rhodes Scholars worldwide and are part of a tradition in Australia that dates back to 1903.
Applicants have be very strong academically but a commitment to community service, leadership, and extracurricular activities are also important qualities of future Rhodes Scholars.
