Getting to QUT Open Day
There are a number of transport options for getting here on the day. Plan your journey in advance to make the most of your day.
QUT Gardens Point campus is centrally located in Brisbane city, alongside the City Botanic Gardens, so it is well serviced by public transport including bus, train and CityCat. Use Translink's journey planner to access timetables and services or call 13 12 30.
Shuttle bus to and from QUT Kelvin Grove campus
If it’s convenient to get to Kelvin Grove, a free shuttle bus will pick you up from our Kelvin Grove campus and take you straight to our Gardens Point campus every 15 minutes from 8am–3.45pm. The estimated travel time between Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point campuses is 15 minutes.
Free parking will be available at QUT’s Kelvin Grove campus in F block (enter from Boundary Road).
This is also your best option if you want to take any of our tours at Kelvin Grove campus.

- Stop 95 at the corner of Alice and George Streets.
If you’re driving to Open Day, you should plan your journey before the day. Consider public car parks within walking distance to campus as parking is extremely limited at Gardens Point campus.
Secure Parking is offering a discounted rate of $9.50 at its Parkade Car Park (53 Albert Street – entry via Margaret Street) for Open Day attendees who pre-book their parking online. To redeem this offer, bookings must be made online via Secure-a-Spot and redeem the promotion code QUTOPEN18 at the payment page.
Free parking will be available at QUT’s Kelvin Grove campus in F (enter from Boundary Road) and J block (enter from Boundary Road or Sports Lane).

Access and parking for people with disabilities
The car park in P block at Gardens Point campus is the best location for people with impaired mobility to access the faculty and support service information tent areas. Access to the P block car park is via Gardens Point Road (off Alice Street). There is also a five minute passenger drop-off zone on George Street (corner of Alice Street), outside Parliament House.
