There are a number of transport options for getting here on the day. Plan your journey in advance to make the most of your day.
QUT Gardens Point campus is centrally located in Brisbane city, alongside the City Botanic Gardens, so it is well serviced by public transport including bus, train and CityCat. Our Kelvin Grove campus is best accessed by bus and train.

Shuttle bus between campuses
Catch the free shuttle bus between Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses every 10 minutes from 8am-3.45pm. The trip between campuses only takes 15 minutes. Make sure you allow at least 15 minutes to get from the bus to your tour starting point so you don't miss out.

The bus departs from the corner of Alice and George Streets at Stop 95.
Bus departs Kelvin Grove campus
The bus makes two stops:
- the corner of Musk Avenue and Victoria Park Road
- Blamey Street.
If you’re driving to Open Day, you should plan your journey before the day. Consider public car parks within walking distance to campus as parking is extremely limited at Gardens Point campus. Parking is free at Gardens Point campus but fills quickly.
At Kelvin Grove campus, free parking will be available in the F block car park (enter from Boundary Road) and J block car park (enter from Boundary Road or Herston Road). This is a good option if you want to take any of our tours at Kelvin Grove campus, or if you want to get the shuttle bus to Gardens Point campus.
Access and parking for people with disabilities
The car park in P block at Gardens Point campus is the best location for people with impaired mobility to access the faculty and support service information tent areas. Access to the P block car park is via Gardens Point Road (off Alice Street). There is also a five-minute passenger drop-off zone on George Street (corner of Alice Street), outside Parliament House.
